What is Discounted Goods?

Discounted Goods is online marketplace design for individuals, estate sale companies and auctioneers, who are willing to sell their items or advertise their sales event.

How do I sell item or advertise my upcoming sale on Discounted Goods?

In order to sell an item or advertise your event on Discounted Goods, You will need to create an account and one of our team member will contact you for account verification and activation.

Buying
Do you charge buyer premium?

Yes, We do charge buyer pemium at the rate of 15% per item.

How do I pay for my order?

We accept credit card via invoice, eTransfer, paypal, money order.

How do I get my item once paid for?

Once the invoice has been paid, we will coordinate the shipping or give you the pickup address.

What are the terms of sales?

All Sales are FINAL, There are NO RETUNS/ EXCHANGE/ REFUND, Items are SOLD AS IS/ WHERE IS.

How much will it cost me if I decide to list on my own?

Do you charge Sales Tax?

Yes, We do charge 5% GST.

Selling
How much do you take in commission?

Our standard commission is 40% on sold item of under $1000, 15% for the sale volume of over $1000.

When do I get paid for my consignments?

You can get paid immediatly if you opt for buyout or you get paid when your item is sold.

How can I track my items, sales and updates?

How much will I get paid once my item is sold?

Once your item is sold you get 60% and we keep 40% of the final sale.

How do you price my item?

Pricing is determined through collaboration between the consignor and our team. Factors considered include the item's condition, brand, market demand, and original retail price. We strive for fair and competitive pricing to maximize both consignor and buyer satisfaction.

Where my item will be sold?

Your item will be primary sold on our site, social media, auction sites and other marketplace.

How long the item can be consign for?

The standard consignment period is 90 days with option to renew.

What will happen to my item if not sold?

If items remain unsold after the consignment period, you have the option to take it back or we donate them to a charity of our choice.

We do accept antiques, collectibles, vintage item, handmade products, sporting goods, musical instrument, electronics, tools, etc...

How do I Consign my item?

To start the consignment process, please contact us with your item details and Our team will be happy to assist you in evaluating your items and initiating the consignment agreement.

Do I have to register to use the site?

No. You can browse and search ads without registering. You should still register, to save time, as the site will remember various preferences for you. If you want to create ads, you will need to register. Registration is FREE.
