Edmonton: In a powerful display of solidarity and determination, Congolese Community Youth Association (CCYA) of Edmonton took to the streets today in a resounding call for peace in Congo. With banners aloft and voices raised, the community came together in a vibrant peaceful protest, demanding an end to violence and conflict in east of Congo.

The streets were a sea of congolese flag placards bearing messages of peace, human right, and end of violence. From impassioned calls for justice to heartfelt pleas for understanding, the diverse array of slogans reflected the deep-rooted desire for peace that permeates the east of Congo.

Among the protesters were individuals from all age includes childrens, all with only one message "Peace Is Our Right". They marched side by side, bound by a shared commitment to ask Canadian leaders to stand with them for peace in Congo and save lives.
